Pawin' It Forward for Clear Conscience Pet

I have been very lucky in the past to receive some really tasty all-natural treats from Amanda and Anthony Bennie, the kind folks over at Clear Conscience Pet.  Ma and Little Oz were even luckier because they got to meet Amanda and Anthony in person at Global Pet Expo...and dog, oh dog are they a hoot and a howl!

You may remember back in 2014 when I wrote "Some Bunny Loves Me at Clear Conscience Pet" - the Bennies sent me a bag of Beef Trachey Chewz and a bag of Bison & Beef Liver Bark.  The treats have an Organic SuperVeggie (OSV) coating that provides an additional nutrient boost of phytonutrients and antioxidants.

As you can see, Clear Conscience Pet now has new packaging - clear bags so you can see what you're getting which are made in the USA, all natural treats.  I love seeing them but not as much as eating them!

Recently on Facebook I learned that 1) Clear Conscience Pet just won the 2015 Pet Product News Editor's Choice Award for excellence and innovation in pet nutrition and 2) they are moving their operations from New York to North Carolina and they could use some help with that.  Clear Conscience Pet is asking people to contribute $5 (through a Kiva Zip Campaign) as a loan to help them move their operations.

Through Kiva Zip, friends who love their products can become a lender...for even $5...and when everything is all said and done, every lender gets paid back.  Clear Conscience Pet has already raised over $1200 of their $5,000 goal.  This loan is going to help them move ahead with important new projects like the development of their two new SuperGravy recipes - Arfredo™ and Barkinara™.  If you don't know about SuperGravy, you need to see what Sugar has to say - her mom uses it in all kinds of dog-friendly recipes.

Please know, Clear Conscience Pet did not ask me to tell you any of this.  I just love their products and thought if anyone else did too, they may want to contribute.  We already did because Ma says the Bennies are such great people - they care about pets and our nutrition.

Have you enjoyed treats made by Clear Conscience Pet?

  1. Their treats do sound quite yummy Oz. I like the idea of the loan, but haven't heard of anyone doing that before. I always see the Indie Gogo projects and whatnot. This sounds like a pretty cool way to help people out!

  13. This is very cool! I wish I had some money to help them out. I'd even tell them they could keep it. But I don't have a job, so I can't contribute at the moment. :( I'll keep them in mind though for when I do get a job and have a steady stream of $ coming in.
