Remembering 9/11

We Will Never Forget...

I found this video by Doreen Hausler on YouTube.  Here is what she wrote about it there:

This beautiful tribute in honor and memory of those who served and those who lost their lives on 9/11/01 in NYC is a compilation of images taken by The Reverend Bill Keane of Branford, CT. Each of these photographs are Bill's personal property. Serving as a Chaplain at Ground Zero on a weekly basis for nine months, Bill met many individuals, and documented, very appropriately and respectfully, his experience. Bill was nice enough to give me a copy of this tribute, and gave me permission to share it with you. I think it's important to share these images. This collection of images captures the spirit and humanity of this, our favorite city. **All images are the exclusive property of Bill Keane. I do NOT own the rights to the images, or the music used here. Video shared with permission of the photographer: Bill Keane**

Music:  'New York State of Mind' by Billy Joel
'The Promise of Living' by Aaron Copland, performed by Erich Kunzel & the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra

  3. Hey Oz, Jet here.

What a respectful tribute. Mom had to explain the situation to me, because I am too young to know.

We agree, we must NEVER forget 9/11 and honor those who lost their lives by living a meaningful life.

    1. I am too young to know as well, Jet. Ma did explain it to me...she is originally from NY/NJ.

Well said about honoring the lost by living a meaningful life. Never forget.

    1. I hope a lot of pals look at it. It was a video that didn't actually have a lot of "hits" on YouTube but it is one of the best tributes.
