What's Up?!

Wow!  I know I haven't been around for some time...months even, I think!  My good friend Baxter would know...he has kept an official count of how long I have been gone from Twitter and possibly, my blog!

I was quite busy for a while: guarding the house while Ma and Daddy-dog were at work, sunning myself in the back yard, going for walks to check on the neighborhood and enjoying the good life.

Enjoying the good life!

That is, until the Bunny Infestation started again.  Those darn bunnies multiply like well...rabbits!  This year, there are more bunnies in my yard than ever before!

Look close and you will see it!!!!

Of course, what can also happen to a terrier (or at least this terrier) during a Bunny Infestation looks something like this:

The bunnies did this to me!

Yep!  That's a broken paw...or more accurately, two broken bones in my wrist!  I had to have that silly cast on for 6 or 7 weeks and it was very uncomfortable (never mind how it limited this terrier in the pursuit of bunnies).

But now, I think I am all healed up...unless my latest x-rays say something else.  Unfortunately, that darn cast has caused lots of yucky sores on my paw which I am not allowed to touch (under penalty of withholding treats) so you know what that means....

Cone of Shame

Aw, heck!  What is a dog to do?!?

So, that is what's up with me!  What's up with you?!?  I've missed you all!

  3. Welcome back, Oz! Sorry to hear about your paw. I hope your people gave you lots of treats and pets to make you feel better. I had a rabbit in my yard, but my mommy saw it first and made me stay away.

  6. Oh no! Did the bunnies really hurt your wrist? We have them in our yard, too, but I don't really notice them much. My assistant finds this very strange!

Good to see you back! Hope your wrist heals quickly.

    Your pal, Pip

    1. How can you not notice them, Pip?!? OMD! You are missing out...chasing bunnies is brilliant! *whispers* The bunnies really didn't hurt my wrist, I did by jumping off the furniture to bark at the bunnies on the patio! BOL
