A Letter from Aunt Linda

To all my wonderful pals here at A Canine Opines and on Twitter, I want to thank you for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers for my very good pal, Lex who went over the Rainbow Bridge earlier this week.  Aunt Linda has been here to see everyone's comments and I have shared your condolence tweets with her too...so she has asked that I post this for her.

A Letter from Aunt Linda

Dearest Oscar,

Your words of kindness, sympathy and support are so much appreciated as well as the comments from many of your friends.  It has been a rough last few days for Lex's surviving furry brothers and sister.  They all miss Lexy so much along with me, his terribly saddened Mum.

Lex came from the Humane Society of Broward County back in February 2001.  He was unique, handsome, affectionate, spirited, loving and caring.  He loved everyone and never met a stranger.  His love and acceptance of my friends furry friends was always quite amazing.  He was trusting of the toughest animals out there and always came out ahead as their friend.  He will be sorely missed yet leaves behind so many incredible and beautiful memories...Oz, we all look forward to your next visit, where the furry friends will raise a paw for their dearly departed Lexy.

Kisses, hugs, paws, licks, barks and purrs...
