Goodbye Wren

Yesterday, my cat cousin Wren went to the Rainbow Bridge.  It was very sudden as only last week did he start acting "sick".  It turned out he had a mass in his chest and small masses on his lungs.  The vet said that big cats like Wren tend to hide their symptoms until it is too late.

Oz the Terrier's cat cousin Wren

Goodbye, Wrenny-boy.  Run free!  I will miss you hissing at me and staring angrily at me from between the open stairs as I munch on your cat food.  I sure hope you find plenty of sun puddles and canned tuna up there and if you do find tuna, please don't eat it all.  Save some for me!

Rest In Peace Wren

  13. That sounds exactly like how my angel brother Scribbles went. Momma and I take comfort that it was quick and we got the chance to spoil him immensely in that short time we knew. Godspeed, handsome Wren. Look up Scribbles at the Bridge and have some fun! So sorry for your loss, Oz. :(

  27. So sorry to hear about Wren, he sure was a handsome guy. We know how well cat's hide their symptoms, mom lost her beloved Tortie Saffie when the vet said there was nothing that he could do about the mass in her mouth. She had no idea then but looking back there were lots of signs. Sorry again for the loss of your cousin. Love Dolly
