Training Day Mischief

What a beautiful weekend we had here in South Florida!  It was sunny and breezy...great weather for spending time outside playing, training and getting into some mischief.

I was working on my off-leash training with Ma in the backyard even though you can see in the photo that I have a leash attached to me just in case.  I've got "Stay" down to a science.

Oz the Terrier dog training Sit-Stay

My response to "Come" has greatly improved - I now diligently return to Ma instead of running in the other direction.

I was doing really good until the water reclamation drain caught my attention.  I swear there is a dog trapped down there because every time I bark down into it, I hear barking (echoing) back.  That dog and I go round-and-round because he never answers my questions; he just asks me the same thing I just asked him.

After a while, I got bored and returned to play fetch with Ma.  When we were done, I went inside and took a nap with Daddy-dog.  All in all, it was a great weekend.

What fun stuff did you do this weekend?
Did you get yourself into a bit of mischief too?

  2. Oz, better run to your mom when you hear that underground doggy.... I've read Mr. Kings novel "IT" and I'm not sure what kind of dog lives there... maybe the bars are there for a good reason?

  19. Katie and I were abandoned at home for 22 hours. Mom took Bailie to her tracking test and we were left home for the first time ever, overnight. Mom's cousin came and checked on us before bed Saturday and took us for a walk and she came by in the morning to walk and feed us. We did really well, no problems at all, but I had a huge hug for Mom when she came back!

  27. Great job with the training, Oz! Our weather wasn't nearly that nice, we are stuck in winter and can't seem to get out! So we stayed inside most of the weekend. :(

  28. Looks like you are having beautiful weather! Silly Iz, barking at the drain! :) Ace got into some mischief today. He was naughty and ate a sandwich he found on the ground during our walk. He swallowed it in two gulps.
