For this week's Pet Dental Health post, I want to tell you about the indigo™ Fresh family of treats from PetSafe. The indigo Fresh family of treats includes Dental Sticks, Triple Chews, Dental Sauce and (not pictured) Floss Bones. All help to scrape away plaque and tartar as your dog chews.
indigo Fresh Triple Chews are the newest dental treat from PetSafe and they pack three health benefits into one treat. Triple Chews combine 1) antioxidant-rich blueberries for a healthy immune system; 2) a dental chew that removes plaque and tartar; and 3) a creamy filling with probiotics for better digestion.
The indigo Fresh Dental Sauce is a food topping that helps keep your dog's breath fresh.
I decided to try the straight up indigo Fresh Dental Sticks. These are crunchy, low-calorie chews that help clean teeth while giving your dog fresh minty breath. The Dental Sticks are formulated based on the biometrics of canine chewing so that they clean teeth and massage gums.
They provide a good, long chew as you can see in my short video.
As we have discussed over the last couple of weeks, good dental health, whether from raw bones, brushing your dog's teeth or dental chews, helps maintain good overall health. And here's a great reminder - "fresh facts about Pet Dental Health":
Everyone should take care of their dental health with whichever means works best for them. If your dog isn't a fan of getting his teeth brushed and you don't want to give a raw bone, then dental chews are the way to go!
My friends at PetSafe want your dog to have clean teeth!

ReplyDeleteDental health is so important to the overall health of a dog. I try to do everything I can now, while they're relatively young, to prevent problems later. Shiloh is 5 and only just starting to show a little bit of tarter- people can't believe how great his teeth look. Wager is one and I'm trying to keep up on his teeth, too. I brush regularly, they have safe chews to help scrape plaque. These would be great to try.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these because I like my dog to have a dental treat at least once a week. The ones she was eating I can no longer find and I have not found another one that she likes yet. I would love her to try these. Dental health is very important.
