Bravo! Homestyle Complete Raw Diet for Dogs #giveaway

"Make Good Happen".  That is Bravo Pet Food's slogan and they sure live up to it.  Bravo makes safe, healthy and great-tasting dinners and treats to help your pet live a long, happy life.  Why, some of my favorite raw diet meals are by Bravo.  They make the best Beef Burgers and now I am excited to see that they are making freeze dried dinners as well.

Oz the Terrier says Make Good Happen with new Bravo Pet Foods freeze dried dinners

Most of the Bravo meals I had been eating, like those scrumptious Beef Burgers, were frozen which meant I could only eat them at home.  It's not easy taking frozen raw on a camping trip or on a road trip; Ma would always worry about the raw meat staying fresh.  But now I can bring my Bravo meals wherever I go thanks to their new Homestyle Complete Dinners for Dogs.

Bravo recently sent me a package of Homestyle Complete Turkey Dinner for Dogs to try.  It is rare that I get turkey since it is a poultry meat and I am allergic to chicken.  Ma gets nervous that turkey will trigger an allergy too, but she let me have a taste of the Bravo Homestyle Complete Turkey Dinner for this post (and yes, it did trigger a small allergy but Ma was at the ready so I wasn't itchy for very long).

Bravo Homestyle Complete Dinners are made in the U.S.A. freeze dried raw diets that include muscle protein, organ meats, vegetables and fruits.  The Dinners do not contain any hormones, antibiotics, artificial preservatives, flavors nor colors and the Dinners are grain- and gluten-free.  With Bravo Homestyle Complete Dinners, just add water and you have a complete and balanced meal for your dog at any life stage.

Bravo Homestyle Complete freeze dried dinners are made with muscle & organ meats, fruits and vegetables

Oz the Terrier says its easy to mix up Bravo Homestyle Complete raw diet for dogs

Mixing up the Homestyle Complete Dinner is super easy.  For whatever amount of freeze dried food you feed, you just add equal amounts of warm water.  Then you let the food soak and rehydrate for about 15-20 minutes.

The Turkey Dinner smelled delicious as it was rehydrating...like Thanksgiving dinner, complete with cranberry sauce.  It tasted as delicious as it smelled, believe me.  I could not stop eating it (even though Ma wanted more photos).  Ma made it a little "soupy" so there would be some "gravy" in there and that Made Good Happen...leaving some leftovers in my beard and mustache for later!

If you are already eating a raw diet, or are thinking of switching to raw, then I highly recommend you "Make Good Happen" and try the Bravo Homestyle Complete Freeze Dried Dinners

I have always thought about feeding raw, but never made "the jump." I have heard a ton of great things about feeding this way though.

  14. My five Coonhounds will eat just about anything, so it's up to me to find healthy foods for them. We fed our dogs big brand name foods for years, but as I found out more about what was IN those foods and what is good and bad for dogs, I've read good things about Bravo's products and have been wanting to try them with my pack.

  16. So glad you didn't have a major allergy flare up trying this for us. It looks yummy. I don't feed raw but would feed it on occasion to give them something different and cut down on me giving them table food.

  21. What a great idea so the food is portable. The other problem that we have with raw foods is that they seem geared toward smaller dogs. Freighter would need to eat a lot to maintain his weight and then it is cost prohibitive. Maybe someday they will find a way to make the price more comparable to kibble.

  32. These dinners look perfect for my dog. She eats a grain-free diet because of her food sensitivities and I will only purchase products that are made in the U.S.
