What Does Your Pet's #WholeBodyHealth Look Like?

Post Disclaimer:  This post is sponsored by Natural Balance's Original Ultra Whole Body Health and the BlogPaws Professional Pet Blogger Network.  I am being compensated for helping spread the word about Whole Body Health but Oz the Terrier only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers.  Natural Balance is not responsible for the content of this article.

What does your pet's whole body health look like?
Healthy skin and shiny coat?  Strong bones and clean teeth?  Strong, well-built musculature?

Oz the Terrier shows off his whole body health

If you recall, in September I asked each of you to participate in a brief, Pet Whole Body Health survey sponsored by Natural Balance.  There were six questions asking what you considered important to your pet's Whole Body Health and those answers were going to generate an infographic.

Well, those results have been tallied and included in this terrierific infographic:

As you can see, 55% of pet parents believe the Most Important Factor for Pet Health is NUTRITION.  I couldn't agree more.  Though we all may eat different types/brands of food, a nutritious, balanced diet is essential to keeping a pet healthy.

It's interesting that the majority of pet parents, 40%, site DIGESTION as their Top Pet Health Concern while 21% of pet parents site IMMUNE SYSTEM as their Top Pet Health Concern.  Since a pet's digestive tract is also part of their immune system, it seems obvious that feeding a balanced diet would help maintain a healthy digestive tract and strong immune system.

Natural Balance agrees and created the Original Ultra Whole Body Health line of pet foods for dogs and cats to provide an optimal balance of premium proteins and key nutrients that will nourish a pet's complete well-being and support their needs through all their life stages.  In fact, Natural Balance's Original Ultra Whole Body Health formulas support 7 areas of your pet's health:

1 Supports Neural Development with optimal levels of DHA EPA from marine sources to support an active, healthy brain;
2.  Supports Healthy Skin & Coat with balanced Omega-6 and Omega-3 ratios to keep skin healthy and coat luxurious;
3.  Supports Digestion with multiple types of fibers - fruits and grains;
4.  Supports Healthy Muscle Development with quality proteins;
5Supports Strong, Healthy Bones and Teeth with proper levels of calcium and phosphorous;
6.  Helps Maintain Healthy Heart and Eyes with added taurine; and
7.  Supports Immune System with a proprietary blend of antioxidant nutrients.

Does this food sound too good to be true?  Natural Balance wants you to try it and see for yourself.

  4. I like "all in ones" and this sounds really great! I think it's better to use one food what helps on more than one front, than to add supplements and oils and pills to our food. I will look if the big pet store in my area has it :o)

  5. Looking like you are the picture of a healthy and happy Woofie so the food must be great. I have seen several blogs sharing the same graphic, but the results are often very different. Would be interesting to learn if the woofie readers answers are different from the kitty ones...*runs off to do research*

  7. I think we voted nutrition first followed by exercise. We are happy with our current food and have no plans to switch.

  12. I think I said nutrition followed by genetics. Because after having a puppy that got bone cancer at only 15 months old, well... there's nothing that anything could have done to help that. It was the (bad) luck of the draw with her genetics. But, still nutrition is SUPER important and, i think in general for most dogs, the number one thing! You look super healthy, Oz!
