What's in the Water?

When we canoed in Myakka River State Park, there were lots of sounds coming from the water - bird calls as well as bullfrog and alligator calls.  I would try to check them all out from the safety of the canoe, of course.

I am joining my good friends Sugar the Golden Retriever and Dachshund Nola for Black and White Sunday.

  6. You won't be catching me in the water. That includes pools where I know there are no critters.

  8. The idea of canoeing with alligators totally freaks me out! But I have had lots of people tell me they think I am crazy for kayaking in waters filled with whales so... Good water watching Oz!

  11. I have to say, you sure are brave. Mom wouldn't go near that water in a canoe with gators in there. Way too scary! I guess you are just used to it.

  13. Don't fall in, Oz! Mr. N loves peering down at water too and I'm always trying to make sure he won't fall in.

  14. Canoeing is really fun. Alligators in the water, not so much fun. Wise choice to stay in the boat.
