A Photo is Worth...$5? Zuke's #FuelTheCure

They say a photo is worth a thousand words but this Summer it is also worth $5 for dogs and cats battling cancer.  That's right.  It's time for Zuke's #FuelTheCure campaign to help raise $10,000 for The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund.

My Money Shot

Did you know 18 million pets are diagnosed with some form of cancer each year?  Cancer accounts for almost half of the deaths of pets over 10 years of age.  We know that prevention is difficult, to say the least...and that treatments can cost thousands of dollars.

That's why The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund has become such a beacon of hope for many pet parents.  When the financial hardship of caring for a pet with cancer becomes too much, The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund provides grants to families to help ease the burden.

And now YOU can help these pets receive the treatments they need while easing the financial burden on their families!  Just share a photo and Zuke's will donate $5 to The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund.

It's as easy as:

That's it!  Zuke's will donate $5 for every photo and you will help pets, like Diego, who are battling "the Big C".

Diego has "helped" nurse abandoned wildlife by licking them for stimulation and he has served as a Therapy Dog in nursing homes for adults with Dementia.  When he was diagnosed, his family did everything they could to get him the treatments he needed - including spending their savings, borrowing from family, maxing out their care credit and taking a second job to help pay the bills.  (--courtesy of zukes.com)

It only takes a few minutes to share a photo of yourself loving life to help save the life of a pet battling cancer!  Please pals...won't you go now and share your "money shot" for The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund?!?

  6. I'm in.

Here's a question: Can you do it more than once? Or maybe on different social media platforms? Like a pic on Instagram and another on Twitter?

    I'd so do that.

Thanks for letting us know about this great way to raise money for a great cause.
