With Thanks to our Veterans

Today is Veterans Day - also known as Remembrance Day and/or Armistice Day.  It was originally celebrated to remember the end of World War I.  Today, Veterans Day is celebrated to honor all our veterans for their patriotism, love of country and their service and sacrifice.

So, today I say Thank You to all our veterans for their military service.

Reminder:  Next Monday, November 18 is our next #ScoopThatPoop blog hop with Sugar the Golden Retriever.  The theme of this month's hop is Poop Patrol.  I know you all will think of some really great posts for that and I look forward to seeing you join our hop!

    1. The Purple Heart I am posing with was Ma's Daddy's medal...he served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam. He passed away (at a young age of 58) a few years ago. Ma has his other service medals too...and the flag from his funeral.
