#ScoopThatPoop: Poetry and Prizes!

I have joined up with my good friend, Sugar the Golden Retriever, for our 3rd #ScoopThatPoop blog hop.

The theme of this month's #ScoopThatPoop hop is right up my alley - Poop Poetry

Don't worry...There is still time for you to write a poop poem or saying to join in the fun as our #ScoopThatPoop blog hop is open all week.  We have prizes sponsored by the nice people at Earth Rated for one lucky blogger and one lucky non-blogger - Earth Rated poop bags and a dispenser

I am not entering the contest but I could not resist writing some poop poetry, especially a Limerick.

There are many dogs in a walking group
at Garden of the Gods, they hike each loop.
You see, Coloradans are kinder,
they leave a gentle reminder
for everyone to Scoop That Poop.

Here's another poem:

Pups poop
On the grass.
Oh, don't be crass
Please remember to scoop!

Scooper Oz says:  Be Responsible.  Be a Scooper Hero.  #ScoopThatPoop

So...What are you waiting for?!?  Write your poop poem (or saying) on your blog and join the hop any day this week.  For those of you who do not have a blog, please leave your poop poetry in the comments section at Sugar's blog post.

Not able to write a Poop Poem?  Then share our #ScoopThatPoop Word Cloud instead!

  13. That's a lovely hiking spot - so it needs to stay that way! Love the "gentle reminder" sign. I think folks do best with "gentle" reminders! Great poems, as usual Oz!

    1. The gentle reminder seemed to be working out there in CO. I think here in FL we need a less gentle approach for some.

  24. I went to the Garden of the Gods years ago in college. As a geologist I absolutely loved it. That was before dog but I am happy to hear it IS dog friendly. If I am ever on a road trip there with Chester and Gretel I definitely want to stop. And we will be sure to scoop our poop :)
